Welcome to Calvary Chapel Point Loma

COVID-19 Update, May 23rd

Hello Church!

I hope you're all having a great Memorial Day weekend despite our current circumstances! We really have so much to be thankful for! Many of you have been asking if we are going to have full services starting this Sunday, May 24th, in light of the message that President Trump made just recently--to have all churches opened this weekend. And while we think this is great news, we are not going to proceed with normal services just yet. We plan to wait just a bit to see if California state and local San Diego authorities come into agreement with the President's statement.

Currently, we are reviewing the CDC's COVID19 Safety guidelines/instructions that are specific for churches, and are looking at all our various ministries to see how we can implement them before our doors open. But be encouraged! We are so very close to having normal church services again. We will open at the earliest, safest opportunity that we can! An announcement will be made by email and also on our website when we finally know which Sunday morning we all can come together once again and worship, pray, fellowship and study Gods Word together. A glorious day that will be!

In the meantime, let's continue to pray, in the unity of the Spirit, for God's will to be accomplished in and through this unprecedented time. Lamentations 3:26, "It is good that one should hope and wait quietly for the salvation of the LORD."
